So I attemped to go out tonight. I was thinking that I would be okay. Considering I have no more pain pills, and we went out to eat (and I ate solid food), I didn't do too well. I drove ok, so we jsut went to Fridays at South Hills Village. Halfway thru the meal, my teeth start killing me! I was miserable. Since I have been taking narcotics for the past four days, well they coause constipation...so u can take it from there. Let's jsut say I am still very uncomfortable. Well I didn't feel like doing anything else. After dinner we went back to Garrett's house to watch the prom video and hang out. This was cool, but his sister, a freshman, was having a party. There were so many freshman there. I didn't know anyone really. Oh well. That's about it...i feel alright now tho. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day. latta
So I got my wisdom teeth out Tuesday. It was rather funny. First off they gave me nitrous-oxide, which made me laugh and tingle. After that they put an IV in my for IV sedation. It didn't really hurt bc I was preoccupied with the NOxide. Yeah..then I fell asleep. Well I woke up in the middle of the surgery. I couldn't feel anything at all bc they also used local anesthetic. So I actually heard them remove a tooth or two. And I was completely conscience when they were stitching me up. Under all of these drugs, I msut have asked for my teethy like ten times. I remember the dental assistant telling me that if I "asked one more time, that she would keep my teeth." I also remember asking the dentist to turn up the music. I still don't know if there was music playing or not. I spent most of the past two days on the couch sleeping, knocked up on drugs. The pain is minimal, but I have some swelling, especially on the left where the teeth were compacted.
Today I had a doctor's appt to get another shot for college. Yeah, that lady bruised me. I also had my first solid food today, a hamburger for dinner. I think I will hold off on solids for one more day; it hurt me.
So I guess I have been really, really busy lately. Well I was on my way to school last week when I noticed this guy walking along the highway near my school. He was dressed in a long brown robe, with the hood up. He was carrying a long walkign stick, and he had a crazy long beard. I thought he looked a lot like a star wars character, but someonme described him as "coming out of the time of Moses." It was hysterical. I mean, wtf?
Well I was busy last week with prom mostly. It was Friday night at the Hilton Hotel Southpointe. It was really nice. I first picked up Angie at 1:30 for pictures at her house (in the middle of nowhere aka 84, Pa). Well since both of her older brothers were going to prom as well, her mom wanted us all there for pictures. after that we had some time to kill so my mom and dad and Angie and I drove into Mingo Park to get some pics near the covered bridge. They turned out really nicely. Soon we left for Ashley's house, where our limo was picking us up. Well 3:00 comes and no limo. We really didn't worry bc there was still time to waste, and we were still taking pictures. Well 15 minutes later I called the company. They were lost. The limo didn't arrive until 3:30. SOOOO, we all got in the limo and headed for Grand March. It was really nice. We were limo 5!!!! Last year I was limo 35!, which sucked. The limo was great, nice and roomy.
So after Grand March we headed for the Hotel. The setup was really nice. Angie and I walked around for a while and took more pictures with our friends. Soon thereafter dinner began. The meal was very good, but small. I guess you'll have that at any formal sitdown dinner. I mean, this wasn't Applebee's I am talking about.
After dinner we hit the dance floor. The dj sucked big time. It was cool tho. Angie and I made the best of it and danced all that we could. It was great. She was such an awesome date. Later in the evening we got our calidioscope (spelling?) pictures taken. blah blah blah. Let's just say prom was awesome.
Well I woke up and it is raining. Today is our band picnic at Mingo Park, but I guess it will be in the cafeteria now. Regardless, it will rather sad. I have made nearly all of my best friends in band over the past four years.
I hate it. My school district has two middle schools, so I didn't meet MOST of my friends until four years ago in 9th grade. And it took us a long time to become as close as we all are now. Oh well, I better cut this short. Later
